What is a radial piston motor?
Designed with a radial arrangement of pistons, radial piston motors are generally Low Speed High Torque (LPHT) motors. Within the cylinder block there are several pistons arranged perpendicular to the drive axis in a star formation. Functioning as a high power direct drive they are able to deliver in a very compact specification.
